KIA WINS ROUTES MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA AIRPORT MARKETING AWARD FOR THE THREE YEARS IN A ROW

On the  1st June, 2015 in Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain. Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA)  was announced as  the winner of  Routes Middle East & Africa Airport Marketing Award  for under  four million passengers category.  KIA  has won this award for three  years in a row.

The annual Routes Marketing Awards are highly regarded as the most prestigious awards in the aviation industry as they are voted for and judged by the airline network planning community. They provide the airline community with the chance to have their say, regarding the airport authority they think has provided the best overall services to them relating to route development and marketing over the past year, to establish new or maintain and develop existing routes.

KIA was competing with other five international airports (Julius Nyerere International Airport , Entebbe International Airport, Quatro de Fevereiro Airport, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport) under the category of airports with less than four Million passengers per annum.
